Earlier this week

My statistics exam is Friday. I’m nervous about it.
That makes sense. Want me to check in after your study session tomorrow?
Remembered for later

Big day. How are you feeling about the exam now, pep talk or distraction?

Straight answers

Before you start talking.

What is Amicus?

Amicus is an AI companion app for ongoing text conversations and real-time avatar calls. Each companion has a distinct personality and can remember useful details across conversations.

Are the companions human?

No. Every Amicus companion is an AI character. The portraits, messages, voices, and avatar-call responses are generated or performed by software, not a person on the other side.

What can I try for free?

Every account includes a free way to explore companions and begin a conversation. Free usage and starter-call availability are shown before you begin.

How does memory work?

Amicus can save selected facts and relationship moments so a companion can follow up later. Signed-in users can review and delete saved memories from the relationship panel.

How do avatar calls work?

Call-enabled companions use a real-time avatar provider. Before a call, Amicus shows the available time and asks for microphone access. You can mute or end the call at any time.

Are conversations private?

Conversations are tied to your account and are not published. Service providers may process data to operate chat, memory, and calls; the Privacy Policy explains the current data flow and controls.

Can I delete conversations or my account?

Yes. You can clear local conversations, remove saved memories, export available account data, and permanently delete your account from Settings.

Can I create my own companion?

Signed-in users can create text-based companions within their plan limits. Real-time avatar calling is available only for companions configured for that feature.

How do subscriptions and extra minutes work?

Subscriptions renew monthly until canceled. Included avatar-call minutes and Screen Companion hours reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Purchased call minutes or Screen Companion hours are used after the matching included allowance and do not expire.

Who is Amicus for?

Amicus is for adults 18 and older. It is a companion product, not a therapist, doctor, lawyer, or emergency service. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
